Maxwell Konadu Backs GFA-Adesa Deal to Revive Local Football

Former Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu has endorsed the strategic partnership between Adesa Productions Limited (APL) and the Ghana Football Association (GFA), calling it a timely boost for Ghana’s domestic football.

Konadu, a respected figure in the local game, described the collaboration as “a very, very good initiative” with the potential to raise the profile and quality of the Ghana Premier League (GPL).

Partnership Aims to Improve Visibility and Investment

The partnership, announced earlier this week, is expected to bring enhanced media coverage, innovative content production, and stronger marketing strategies to Ghana’s top-tier football competition.

Speaking to sports journalists, Konadu highlighted the importance of such collaborations in attracting investment and fan engagement. “If this is done well, the league can benefit greatly. The visibility alone can attract more sponsors, better player development, and raise standards,” he said.
