The event brought together key players from the private and public sectors to discuss the future of energy, automation, and sustainable development across the region.

    Mr. Outare Kokobissi, Managing Director of JUAL Group, delivered the keynote opening address, setting the tone for a day centered on technological innovation and regional advancement. He traced JUAL’s journey from its humble beginnings in 2001 to its emergence as a regional force in industrial solutions.

    “Our mission is rooted in enabling African countries to leap forward through localized, sustainable, and smart infrastructure solutions,” Mr. Kokobissi emphasized. “With ABB’s cutting-edge technologies and our strong local footprint, this partnership is poised to transform electrification systems across Ghana and West Africa.”

    From expansions into Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Nigeria, to strategic partnerships with KSB Group and now ABB, JUAL Group’s journey has been defined by its commitment to quality and innovation. Notably, the company has been instrumental in delivering critical infrastructure projects in sectors such as healthcare, energy, real estate, and manufacturing.

    Among their flagship accomplishments:

    • ABB-certified panel production and localized control system assembly in Ghana.
    • Major installations at Nestlé Ghana, Interplast, Melcom, Kibi Hospital, and the Takoradi Port Expansion.
    • Delivery of high-capacity transformer and automation systems supporting national development.

    A Vision for 2025 and Beyond

    JUAL Group unveiled its 2025–2030 strategic plan at the event, with goals including:

    • Establishing three new regional offices across West Africa.
    • Expanding its 400sqm workshop to meet growing regional demand.
    • Increasing stock availability for ABB components to shorten delivery times.
    • Driving local employment and skills development by transferring high-tech knowledge to Ghanaian professionals.

    Mr. Kokobissi stressed the importance of digitizing operations and leveraging energy-efficient technologies tailored to Africa’s environment and infrastructure needs. “Our goal is not only to serve our clients better but to uplift the entire industrial ecosystem of the region,” he stated.

    As attendees explored ABB’s latest innovations and engaged in deep-dive sessions with technical experts, the message was clear—the future of electrification and automation in West Africa is collaborative, sustainable, and already underway.
