Ghanaian music sensation, Kofi Kinaata, has provided a fresh update following the Sunday afternoon accident that occurred while he was traveling to the Western Region for an event.
In a recently released video, Kinaata expressed his gratitude to his fans for their support and cleared up misinformation regarding the incident. He urged everyone to disregard reports claiming the driver involved in the crash died on the spot, saying, “The driver is not dead. Those claiming he died on the spot, it’s not true. He is fine. We, those that were in the car, are all fine.”
Collision Details
Kinaata explained that the accident involved a Land Cruiser in which he was traveling and a motorcycle that suddenly crossed their path. Unfortunately, the two individuals on the motorbike were not wearing helmets, which significantly contributed to the severity of their injuries.
Riders in Critical Condition
The musician went on to confirm that while he and his crew were unharmed, the two motorcyclists were in critical condition. He requested prayers for their recovery and expressed his hope that they pull through this difficult time.
“I am currently at the event venue, Maaha, and will continue to keep you all updated on their progress,” Kinaata concluded in his heartfelt message.
