Shocking: KNUST student commits suicide at Wassa Akropong .

Suicide is very common among University students in Ghana. Mental health issues are therefore not taken lightly on various campuses across the nation. However, the Suicide Prevention month set for the month of October could not prevent Isaac Ofori, a Level 200 student of KNUST from taking his own life.

According to sources, the late KNUST student, Isacc Ofori went for a night out with his friends and came back home drunk. As most parents will act, his dad was not very thrilled with his behavior and this led to an argument.

He later excused himself to go and get food and nothing was heard from him again. In the early hours of the next morning, there was still no news from him which led into the breaking in of his room.

His lifeless body was seen hanging on the bar in his bedroom hence concluding he committed suicide. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
