Former NSA Boss paid MP to kill ‘Ghost Names’ scandal

Ghana’s Attorney General and Minister for Justice, Dr. Dominic Ayine, has made a shocking revelation regarding the National Service Authority (NSA) ghost names scandal. He alleges that Osei Assibey Antwi, the former Director General of the NSA, paid a Member of Parliament (MP) to prevent media coverage of the fraudulent scheme.
The ghost names scandal involves the alleged inflation of the National Service Scheme’s payroll with non-existent personnel, leading to significant financial losses to the state.

Dr. Ayine’s claim has raised serious concerns about political interference in corruption investigations, sparking public demand for further probe and accountability.
Authorities are yet to disclose the identity of the MP or whether further legal actions will be taken against those implicated.
