The Ghana Baptist University College (GBUC) in Kumasi has announced tuition scholarships ranging from 50 per cent to 100 per cent for 2026 senior high school (SHS) graduates and other eligible applicants seeking admission to selected undergraduate and diploma programmes for the 2026/2027 academic year. The initiative is intended to make tertiary education more accessible to qualified students who may face financial difficulties in meeting the cost of university education. According to a statement issued by the University’s Registrar, successful beneficiaries will receive financial support covering between half and the full cost of their tuition fees, depending on the scholarship awarded.
The University said the scholarships would apply for the entire duration of the beneficiary’s programme of study, provided the student continues to meet the conditions attached to the award. Applicants are therefore expected to familiarise themselves with the scholarship requirements and maintain the necessary academic and administrative standards throughout their studies.
Established in 2006, Ghana Baptist University College is affiliated with the University of Cape Coast. The institution offers programmes designed to prepare students for careers in business, education, languages, administration, and related fields.
The scholarship opportunity covers selected regular undergraduate and diploma programmes. These include the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, which offers options in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Human Resource Management, and Marketing.
Other programmes listed under the offer are the Bachelor of Education in English, Bachelor of Education in French, Diploma in French Education, and Diploma in Business Administration.

To make payment more manageable, the University has introduced a flexible, semester-based fee payment plan for the portion of fees not covered by the scholarship. Under the arrangement, students are expected to pay 60 per cent of the outstanding balance before registration, 20 per cent by the middle of the semester, and the remaining 20 per cent before the end-of-semester examinations.
The payment structure is intended to reduce the pressure of making a single full payment at the beginning of the academic year. Management of the University has urged 2026 SHS graduates and other eligible applicants to apply for admission and the tuition scholarship through its online application portal at www.gbuc.edu.gh.
