The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced a final opportunity for prospective National Service Personnel experiencing biodata discrepancies to correct their records and complete the registration process.
In a press release issued on August 24, 2026, the Authority directed all affected students who have been unable to resolve their biodata issues to report to the NSA headquarters by Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
The NSA said it is working with the National Identification Authority (NIA), Ghana Publishing Company and Commissioners for Oaths to provide the necessary support to students whose records require corrections.
Students who have not yet secured the required affidavit will receive assistance from Commissioners for Oaths to prepare and swear the documents needed to regularise their biodata.
Those who need Gazette publication will also be supported by the Ghana Publishing Company and guided through the required process.
The Authority further instructed students who already have their affidavits and/or Gazette publications but whose biodata corrections have not been reflected in the system to visit its headquarters with the original documents and any other relevant supporting materials.
The NSA explained that once the discrepancies are resolved and the students’ records are properly aligned, they will be allowed to proceed with their National Service registration.
Affected students have been advised to come with all relevant original documents, including their Ghana Cards and, where applicable, their affidavits and Gazette publications.
The Authority emphasised that the exercise is the “final opportunity” for students with biodata mismatch issues to regularise their records and complete their registration before the August 26 deadline.
The NSA has therefore urged all affected students to act immediately and make use of the assistance available before the deadline expires.
