Bank Hospital Denies Claims Over Daddy Lumba’s Treatment

The Bank Hospital has strongly refuted allegations made by media personality Afia Schwarzenegger regarding the medical care provided to the late Highlife legend Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba.
Afia Schwarzenegger, in a widely circulated social media post, alleged that the hospital failed to treat Daddy Lumba with professionalism and breached confidentiality protocols during his final days.
Hospital Insists on Upholding Professional Standards
In a statement issued on August 1, the management of the Bank Hospital rejected the allegations, asserting that at all times, they upheld the highest standards of medical ethics and patient confidentiality.
“We wish to assure the public that the hospital remains committed to professional healthcare delivery, and we deeply respect the privacy and dignity of every patient—living or deceased,” the statement read.

The hospital urged the public to disregard any unfounded claims, adding that misinformation could cause unnecessary distress to families and damage the integrity of healthcare institutions.
The late musician, an icon of Ghanaian Highlife music, passed away recently after a short illness, prompting a national outpouring of grief and tribute.
