Two students shot dead at Nalerigu SHS

North East Region, Ghana – In a shocking and heartbreaking incident, two students of Nalerigu Senior High School (SHS) were fatally shot by unknown gunmen on the school campus on the night of Saturday, July 26, 2025.
The attack, which has left the entire Nalerigu community in deep fear and sorrow, occurred under mysterious circumstances. Although official details remain scarce, some local sources have hinted at a possible connection to the ongoing tribal conflict in nearby Bawku. Security forces, however, have yet to confirm any such link.
The Headmaster of Nalerigu SHS, Mr. Mohammed Tibila, confirmed the devastating news in an interview on Sunday. He stated that the students were attacked and killed right within the school’s premises.
