Real Madrid has officially announced the appointment of Xabi Alonso as the club’s new head coach, with a contract extending until June 30, 2028. Alonso, 43, will take over from Carlo Ancelotti, who departs to manage the Brazilian national team after a distinguished tenure with the Spanish giants.
