Abraham currently serves in several leadership capacities, including Vice President of the Volta Region Students Association (VORSA Legon), Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the University of Ghana Nursing and Midwifery Students Association (UGHANMSA), Deputy Head of the Business and Political Chamber of PENSA Legon, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Oti Region Students Association (ORSA), and a Member of the University of Ghana Parliament House.
Over the years, he has led and supported numerous student-centered initiatives, including academic tutorials, mentorship programmes, welfare interventions, and advocacy campaigns aimed at improving the student experience and promoting collective growth.

Ghana’s Minister for Sports and Recreation, Hon. Kofi Adams, has made it clear that his role extends beyond football, despite his recent engagements with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the Black Stars.
Kofi Adam’s statement comes in response to growing criticism that his focus has been primarily on football, following several appearances at football-related events.
Engagements with GFA and Black Stars
Since taking office, Kofi Adams has been actively involved with the GFA, having met with its Executive Council Members and the Black Stars’ technical team. He has also attended Black Stars training sessions as Ghana prepares for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
However, in an interview, Adams reiterated that his mandate covers all sports disciplines, not just football.
“I’m not Minister for Football. I’m Minister for Sports and Recreation,” he emphasized.
Commitment to All Sporting Disciplines
The Buem MP assured Ghanaians that all sports would receive fair attention and support. He emphasized plans to distribute resources equitably across both competitive and non-competitive sports at the national, regional, and grassroots levels.
“Football will continue to have its rightful place, but other sports will also grow.”
His comments seek to address concerns that other sporting disciplines may be sidelined, reinforcing his commitment to developing sports beyond just football in Ghana.
