President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed former Deputy Attorney General, Lawyer Dindiok Kpemka, as the Deputy Managing Director for the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company (BOST).

A letter dated May 17, 2024, and signed by Nana Asante Bediatuo, announced the appointment. The letter directed the Energy Minister to take the necessary steps to ensure that Kpemka’s appointment is regularized in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Company Act 2019 (Act 929) and the company’s constitution.

Lawyer Kpemka served as Deputy Attorney General during President Akufo-Addo’s first term but lost his position after losing his seat in Tempane, a constituency in the Upper East Region.

Born on August 13, 1973, Joseph Dindiok Kpemka is a Ghanaian politician who represented the Tempane Constituency in the Seventh Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana on the New Patriotic Party ticket. He holds a B.A. from the University of Ghana, an L.L.B., and a Barrister of Law from the Ghana School of Law.

Kpemka’s career is marked by diverse experiences. He worked as an English tutor with the Ghana Education Service from 2002 to 2005, served as a District Chief Executive from 2008 to 2009, and was a lawyer and lecturer at Bolgatanga Technical University from 2009 to 2016.

His appointment to BOST reflects his extensive legal expertise and commitment to public service.
