Benin is a popular town in Nigeria. It is well known as the hometown of the famous singer and young sing writer Rema.

In recent news, popular cross dresser and transgender Bobrisky has moved into the town , Benin. In Nigeria, having sexual orientations other than heterosexuality is a big crime and also not supported by citizens although people still practice it in secret.

As Bobrisky identifies as trans, the youth of Benin are not happy about his stay in their town. Some of the reasons they have given include he is carrying evil spirits with him and also he might influence their children.

In African, legal, societal and moral norms may lead to other sexual orientations not being accepted. In view of this, netizens of the town want Bobrisky out as they patrol on their streets with placards displaying their displeasure of his presence.
