GoldBod Jewellery Limited is expanding its retail footprint in Ghana with the opening of a new showroom at the Takoradi Mall, giving customers in the Western Region easier access to its range of authentic, locally crafted gold jewellery.
The new outlet, established in partnership with B-Light Jewellery, is scheduled to be officially opened on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
The Takoradi showroom will offer customers in the city and surrounding communities access to GoldBod Jewellery’s growing collection of locally produced gold ornaments.
The expansion forms part of the company’s broader efforts to promote value addition to Ghana’s gold by encouraging the transformation of the country’s mineral resources into finished products rather than relying primarily on the export of raw gold.
GoldBod Jewellery has, since its establishment, focused on showcasing Ghana’s gold through professionally crafted ornaments for both local and international customers.
The increasing demand for its jewellery reflects growing interest in locally produced gold products and the economic potential of processing Ghana’s gold into finished goods with greater value.
According to the company’s expansion strategy, the Takoradi showroom will help extend its retail presence beyond Accra while making its products more accessible to consumers in other parts of the country.
The new outlet is also expected to contribute to efforts to retain a greater share of the value generated from Ghana’s gold within the local economy.
Through the Takoradi expansion, GoldBod Jewellery continues to promote authentic Ghanaian gold, local craftsmanship and value addition by bringing finished gold products closer to consumers in the Western Region.
