The Ghana Police Service has declared 40-year-old Barbara Asantewaa Kodua, popularly known on TikTok as “Ghana Jollof,” wanted in connection with an alleged case of inciting violence.
In a wanted-person notice issued on Thursday, September 17, 2026, the Police described Ms. Kodua as a fair-complexioned woman and appealed to the public to provide credible information that could assist investigators in locating her.
According to the Police, Ms. Kodua was last seen at the Accra International Airport on August 4, 2022. Investigators suspect that she may currently be in the United Kingdom.
The “Ghana Jollof” TikTok account has attracted public attention for its political commentary and criticism of government officials. However, the Police notice did not specify the particular statements or social media publications that form the basis of the alleged incitement offence.
The Police have urged anyone with information about Ms. Kodua’s whereabouts to report to the nearest police station or contact the service on 0500100010 to assist with the ongoing investigation.
