Kumawood actor Oteele and his estranged wife, Gifty Nana Afriyie, have appeared together on a TikTok Live session to address the marital crisis that has dominated public attention since August 2026.
The couple’s relationship came under intense scrutiny in mid-August after an alleged private video involving Oteele and another woman surfaced online and went viral.
Gifty initially denied being the woman featured in the video and publicly apologised on behalf of her family amid the controversy.
However, on September 10, 2026, she announced during a TikTok Live session that she had divorced Oteele following the scandal.
Her latest appearance with Oteele has, however, signalled a major change in her position.
During the joint TikTok Live, Gifty spoke directly to Oteele and expressed her continued love for him despite the difficulties the couple had faced.
