The Ghana Police Service has launched a manhunt for a man captured in a viral video allegedly assaulting a suspect.
The Service has condemned the incident and intensified efforts to identify, arrest and prosecute the individual involved.
According to the Police, investigations are also underway to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Although the Police have not disclosed the identity of the man, the exact location of the incident or what led to the assault, reports suggest that it may have occurred at the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) premises.
The Police Service has assured the public that anyone found culpable will be dealt with in accordance with due process and the law.
