The remains of Professor Amedeke, a respected lecturer at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), have been discovered under harrowing circumstances at his residence in Gyahadze, a suburb of Winneba, weeks after he was reported missing.
Prof. Amedeke had not been seen or heard from for several weeks, prompting growing concern among family, colleagues, and students. Following his disappearance, relatives lodged formal complaints at local police stations, triggering an investigation into his whereabouts.
After weeks of intensive inquiries, suspicions mounted that the academic may have been killed and buried within the confines of his own home. Acting on these suspicions, the police secured a court order for exhumation, leading to the shocking discovery of his body.
