Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has confidently stated that he still enjoys the full support of the club’s owners, despite growing pressure and disappointment from fans following the team’s recent performances.
The Blues suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Legia Warsaw on Thursday in the second leg of their Europa Conference League quarter-final tie, marking another setback in what has been a turbulent few weeks.

Chelsea have now gone two consecutive home games without a win, following last weekend’s 2-2 draw with Ipswich Town in the Premier League. These results have seen the Blues slip out of the Champions League qualification spots, adding to mounting fan frustration. “No Doubt About the Owners’ Support” – Maresca
Speaking at a post-match press conference, Maresca addressed the growing concerns and made it clear that the club’s leadership remains fully behind him.
“Absolutely yes, no doubt,” he said when asked about the owners’ support.
“We have spent almost all season in a Champions League spot. We are in a European semifinal. So why now we need to change something? I don’t have any doubt about what we are doing and the way we are doing.”
Maresca framed the recent setbacks as opportunities for growth, saying:
“For different reasons, we had setbacks like (against Legia), but for me, this makes us stronger for the future.”

Looking ahead, Maresca emphasized the importance of Chelsea’s final eight matches of the season — six in the Premier League and two in the Europa Conference League semi-finals.
“There is only the right time to play a game. We have eight official games to play at the moment and they are all important. Now is the moment to go, if we want to reach something.”
The Italian coach acknowledged the pressure that comes with managing a club of Chelsea’s stature:
“Chelsea is a big club, a huge club, one of the biggest clubs in the world. So it’s normal that you have pressure… if we have a game away and there is worry [about that], we are in the wrong way.”
