Prudential Bank Supports Muslim Community in Tamale to Commemorate Eid-ul-Fitr

Prudential Bank’s Tamale Branch has donated GH¢10,000 to the Kukuo Laststop Jummah Mosque in Tamale in celebration of this year’s Eid-ul-Fitr. The donation, made on behalf of the Bank, aims to support Muslims in the area as they mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

A three-member delegation led by Branch Manager, Sumaila Mahama, presented the cheque to the Chief of Wurishie, Chief Adam Lansah, and the Imam of the Mosque, Adam Nayi Alhassan, at a brief ceremony in Tamale.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Mahama expressed the Bank’s deep appreciation for the strong relationship it shares with the Muslim community.

“We thank you for your warm reception. This is Prudential Bank’s little way of supporting the Muslim ummah in celebrating Eid after the holy month of Ramadan.”

Muslim Leaders Express Gratitude

Receiving the donation, Chief Adam Lansah thanked the Bank for its generosity, assuring that the funds would be put to good use for the benefit of the entire Muslim community.

“We thank you for your generosity. The ummah is grateful. I encourage all members of our Mosque to make Prudential Bank your preferred bank for all your banking needs.”

The Imam of the Mosque also offered prayers for the branch, the bank, and its management, seeking blessings for their continued success.

Mr. Mahama was accompanied by Inusah Yakubu (Relationship Officer) and Baba Mohammed Saani (Deputy Operations Manager) of the Prudential Bank Tamale Branch.

Prudential Bank’s Support During Ramadan

Earlier in the Ramadan season, Prudential Bank extended its solidarity to Muslim customers and communities across its branch network through a series of donations. The Bank provided care packages for 100 valued Retail and 30 Corporate Muslim customers across selected branches. These packages included a variety of breakfast items to support customers during the fasting period.

Prudential Bank’s continued engagement with the Muslim community underscores its commitment to social responsibility, fostering strong relationships with customers across diverse backgrounds.

    Abraham seeks to champion a vision centered on student welfare,
    accountability, inclusiveness, innovation, and effective representation.
