In a rare display of bipartisan respect, Papa Kwesi Ndoum, Founder and President of Group Ndoum, has publicly lauded former President John Dramani Mahama’s significant contributions to job creation and economic support in Ghana. As the current Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mahama is actively seeking a return to office, and Ndoum’s commendation highlights an approach that transcends party lines. Papa Ndoum’s praise underscores the importance of acknowledging impactful leadership, regardless of political affiliation.

Ndoum specifically recognized Mahama’s tangible efforts in job creation, an issue critical to the Ghanaian economy. During Mahama’s tenure, substantial steps were taken to bolster local industries and increase employment opportunities, which Ndoum, as a business leader, found conducive to his own company’s mission. He shared that his experience with Mahama’s administration was positive, with no unnecessary obstacles placed in the way of Group Ndoum’s growth. Instead, Mahama valued Group Ndoum’s contributions to national employment, a stance that Ndoum described as evidence of a mature, national-interest-driven leadership style.

Papa Ndoum shared, “He (Mahama) publicly acknowledged, even in a speech, that Group Papa Ndoum, meaning myself, has been providing jobs and investing in creating employment in this country.” Amid rumors that Ndoum might be supporting the NDC in the upcoming elections, he clarified that his appreciation of Mahama’s contributions stands independently of any political alliance. “If someone has done something I appreciate, I will say so,” Ndoum emphasized.

This statement underscores an often-overlooked perspective in politics: the value of acknowledging positive leadership qualities across party lines. Ndoum’s words serve as a reminder that recognizing each other’s contributions can foster unity and promote sustainable national development. His sentiments illustrate how appreciating a leader’s achievements can transcend politics, driving long-term growth and cooperation.

“Whitebox Media stands for unity, respect, and harmony as Ghana approaches this critical election. Together, let’s make peace our priority and build a future where every voice is heard, and every life is valued.”
