Abraham currently serves in several leadership capacities, including Vice President of the Volta Region Students Association (VORSA Legon), Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the University of Ghana Nursing and Midwifery Students Association (UGHANMSA), Deputy Head of the Business and Political Chamber of PENSA Legon, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Oti Region Students Association (ORSA), and a Member of the University of Ghana Parliament House.

The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama, has strongly defended the party’s decision to protest against the Electoral Commission (EC), citing concerns over the voters’ register’s accuracy. These discrepancies, according to the NDC, could seriously jeopardize the fairness of the December 7 elections.
Protecting the Integrity of the Electoral Process
During a community engagement as part of his Greater Accra regional tour, Mr. Mahama highlighted the party’s actions as a measure to protect the integrity of the electoral process. He emphasized the importance of a credible and transparent voters’ register for ensuring free and fair elections in 2024.
Call for Electoral Reforms
John Mahama further urged all Ghanaians to support the NDC’s call for electoral reforms, stressing that the accuracy of the voters’ register is critical to upholding democracy. Discrepancies in the register, he warned, could erode voter trust and negatively affect the election’s outcome.

The NDC is planning a protest on September 17th at the EC office, inviting all concerned Ghanaians to join in demanding transparency and a smooth electoral process for a peaceful election in 2024.
