Jordan Ayew, Black Stars striker, and the captain of the Central African Republic team are making headlines after a heated argument erupted following Ghana’s narrow 4-3 victory. The confrontation, which has gone viral on social media, took place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on June 10, 2024.

In the viral video shared on X, Ayew, a Crystal Palace player, and Geoffrey Kondogbia, Captain of the Central African Republic were seen in a tense verbal exchange. Black Stars goalkeeper Ati Zigi attempted to intervene and calm the situation. The argument escalated when Ayew pushed Kondogbia, prompting more players from both teams to rush onto the field.

    student experience and promoting collective growth.

    As an aspiring President of the University of Ghana Students'
    Representative Council (UGSRC) for the 2026/2027 academic year,
    Abraham seeks to champion a vision centered on student welfare,
    accountability, inclusiveness, innovation, and effective representation.
