even more vibrant, bringing together students, clubs, and residents through a rich mix of activities designed to educate, entertain, and inspire.

A Cultural Celebration Rooted in Unity and Education

The Easter Ajaben Festival has become a significant cultural event in the La community calendar, and the 2025 edition is no exception. Scheduled to take place over two key dates in April, this year’s event will feature an Inter-School Ga Quiz
and a grand Easter Ajaben Float, both aimed at fostering unity and pride among the people of La.

Inter-School Ga Quiz – April 16, 2025

The festival kicks off with an educational highlight — the Inter-School Ga Quiz — on Wednesday, 16th April 2025 at 10:00 AM, hosted at La Nmanti Djano. This competition aims to promote the Ga language and culture among the youth while fostering healthy academic rivalry among junior high schools in the area.

The following school circuits will be represented:
– Airport Rangoon Circuit – Association JHS School
– Adjetey Circuit – Burma Camp JHS School
– Emmaus Circuit – Bethel Presby JHS School
– Manle Dada Circuit – Home School JHS
– Arakan Circuit – Base Workshop School
– Adobetor Circuit – Wireless 2&5 School

This exciting quiz will challenge students’ knowledge of the Ga language and culture, rewarding excellence and encouraging youth involvement in preserving local heritage.

Easter Ajaben Float – April 21, 2025

On Monday, 21st April 2025 at 3:00 PM, the streets of La will come alive with the Easter Ajaben Float, starting from Lakpanaa. This vibrant procession will feature various clubs and groups within La, showcasing their unique identities through music, dance, and colorful displays.

The float promises a festive atmosphere filled with joy and camaraderie, celebrating the strength and diversity of the La community.
