Police impound truck suspected to be carrying missing ECG cables

The Agona Swedru Divisional Police Command has intercepted a truck loaded with electrical cables, suspected to be part of the missing containers belonging to the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) at Tema Port.

The truck, with registration number GC 7410-11, was seized at Gomoa Awombrew in the Gomoa Central District of the Central Region.

Authorities are currently investigating the origins of the cables and their possible connection to the missing ECG shipment. Further details are expected as the investigation unfolds.
