The Kingdom of Morocco has donated 40,000 bags of fertilizer to Ghana through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The donation, received yesterday, marks a significant boost to Ghana’s ongoing efforts to support its farmers and strengthen food security.
Ministry of Agriculture Commits to Fair Distribution
Speaking on behalf of Hon. Eric Opoku, a representative of the Ministry of Agriculture expressed deep gratitude to Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa and Her Excellency Ouaadil for facilitating the donation.
“We at the Ministry of Agriculture will ensure the fertilizers get straight to the deserving farmers as soon as possible,” the ministry assured, underscoring the government’s commitment to transparency and efficiency in distribution.
The donation is part of growing agricultural diplomacy between Ghana and Morocco and comes at a crucial time as the country rolls out intensified efforts under the #FeedGhana campaign to boost food production and support smallholder farmers.
