I’m a prophet – Archipalago speaks on King Promise and Kweku Smoke’s TGMA win

Ghanaian musician and social media personality Archipalago has boldly declared himself a prophet following his accurate prediction of King Promise’s win as Artiste of the Year at the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs).

Speaking on Joy Prime’s “Changes” show with Roselyn Felli, Archipalago attributed his foresight to intuition and a unique ability to “see things” before they happen.

“I’m a prophet because I see things and I have intuition. So whenever I say something, it comes to pass—that’s why I was telling them about Kweku Smoke. I told him he’s going to blow, and he’s blown, and his success is outstanding,” he confidently stated.

Archipalago referenced his past prediction about Kumasi-based rapper Kweku Smoke, whose breakthrough in Ghana’s music scene he claims to have foreseen. He believes these repeated “visions” solidify his prophetic status in the entertainment space.

The viral figure also shared details about how he entered the TGMA venue without a ticket—something he insists was part of his prophetic intuition. According to Archipalago, despite arriving at the event without an invitation, he was granted access through actor and Deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture John Dumelo.

“When I got there, I knew I would be permitted to enter because I’m Archipalago. But when I got there, it wasn’t like that. So I told my homeboy I went with that he should wait for me to get a ticket and enter the auditorium and see what will happen. That was even a prophecy I told my boy,” he recounted.

Though his stage appearance at the event was unplanned, Archipalago insists the entire evening unfolded just as he foresaw.

Archipalago’s latest claims add to his ever-growing reputation as one of Ghana’s most unpredictable and talked-about social media personalities. His blend of controversy, charisma, and now, “prophetic insight,” continues to stir conversations both online and offline.

Whether seen as a publicity stunt or genuine belief, his declaration is sure to fuel more debate among fans and critics alike.
