Sarah Adwoa Safo, former Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya, has made startling revelations about spiritual attacks she allegedly faced during her initial bid to enter Parliament.

Speaking in a video circulating on social media and sighted by GhanaWeb, the former MP disclosed that some individuals attempted to use spiritual rituals to harm her by taking her pictures and collecting sand from her footprints.

“My Father Appeared Spiritually to Protect Me” — Adwoa Safo

According to Adwoa Safo, these individuals sought to use the materials for rituals aimed at calling out her spirit. However, she revealed that every attempt to harm her was thwarted by the spiritual intervention of her father, Apostle Safo Kantanka, a renowned spiritual leader and inventor.

“During my first parliamentary election contest in the Dome-Kwabenya constituency, some individuals took my picture and collected sand from my footprints to use in a sacred ritual. However, whenever they attempted to call out my spirit to cause harm, my father would appear to protect me.”

Ritualist Could Not Identify Her as a Woman

She further recounted that at a point, the ritualist reportedly saw a man’s image instead of hers when shown her picture. The ritualist is said to have warned them never to mention her name again due to the spiritual presence of her father.

“It got to a point when the ritualist saw my picture, they said it was a man. When they mentioned my name, he said they should never mention that name again. As for my father, I don’t know how to thank him,” she added emotionally.

Ongoing Tensions With the New Patriotic Party

Since the 2024 general elections, Adwoa Safo has embarked on several media tours to share her experiences during her time in office, including her current position within the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Her revelations and media engagements have stirred controversy and internal friction within the party, as some members have taken issue with her public disclosures.
