AIDEC Digital’s Bold Move: New BPO Center Positions Ghana as Global Outsourcing Powerhouse

AIDEC Digital, a subsidiary of AIDEC Group of Companies, has launched a state-of-the-art Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) center in Accra, Ghana, solidifying the nation’s position as a rising global player in digital outsourcing. The launch, themed “Global Competitiveness and Strategic Partnerships,” underscores Ghana’s commitment to job creation, strategic collaboration, and digital excellence.

A Strategic Step Toward Ghana’s Digital Future

The event brought together government officials, industry experts, and tech leaders who hailed AIDEC’s move as a transformative step toward Ghana’s digital empowerment. The BPO Center is designed to serve both local and international markets, with a strong focus on youth employment and high-quality service delivery.

“Our vision is to tap into the market potential by positioning Ghana as a hub for digital outsourcing,” said Sir Ambrose Yennah, Founder and Executive Chairman of AIDEC Group.

Tapping into a Billion-Dollar Global BPO Market

The global BPO industry, currently worth $321 billion, is projected to hit $525 billion by 2030. Although Africa contributes only 2% to this sector—largely dominated by South Africa, Egypt, and Morocco—Ghana is emerging as a new frontier thanks to its political stability, English-speaking population, skilled youth, and tech-ready environment.

“Ghana has all the attributes of a favorable destination for BPO services,” explained David Gowu, CEO of BOSAG.

Robust Services and High-End Tech Capabilities

The AIDEC Digital Hub offers a wide range of outsourcing services, including:

  • Inbound and outbound call center operations
  • Customer support
  • Data processing and analytics
  • AI and business intelligence
  • E-learning and IT training
  • ISO certification
  • Software development
  • Digital marketing and content management

Chief Technology Officer Emmanuel Gbeve highlighted the center’s adherence to international data protection standards and Cyber Security Authority approval, ensuring quality and secure service delivery.
