The Ministry of Health (MoH) will open its online recruitment portal on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, for medical officers and dentists in the 36th batch who have completed their mandatory housemanship and obtained verification from the Medical and Dental Council.
In a notice issued on Monday, October 26, the Ministry said the recruitment exercise was aimed at addressing critical staffing gaps in healthcare facilities across Ghana.
Eligible applicants are required to submit their applications online through the Ministry’s official recruitment portal at mohrecruitment.com. Applicants must follow the instructions provided to select their preferred operational districts and healthcare agencies.
The portal will open at 3:10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 27, and close at midnight on Thursday, October 29, 2026.
The Ministry has urged qualified medical officers and dentists to apply only through the designated portal and exercise caution against recruitment scams and individuals who demand money in exchange for assistance.
It stressed that the recruitment process is transparent and that applicants are not required to pay any fee at any stage.
“The Ministry of Health advises all applicants NOT to make any payment for this process,” the statement emphasised.
