Veteran Ghanaian actress Selassie Ibrahim is mourning the death of her husband, former Agriculture Minister Ibrahim Adam.
Ibrahim Adam, a former Member of Parliament for Choggu/Tishigu and the Nanton Kanshennaa, passed away in the early hours of today at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC), where he had been receiving medical care.
Following the news of his passing, Selassie Ibrahim took to Instagram to express her grief, sharing several photographs of herself and her late husband, including cherished family moments and images from his recent birthday celebration.
In an emotional tribute, she wrote: “Rest well🙏🏼😭 our hearts are broken beyond words. Your legacy lives on.”
Selassie Ibrahim and Ibrahim Adam were married and had two children, a son and a daughter.
The family has announced that Ibrahim Adam’s remains will be airlifted from Accra to Tamale, where he will be laid to rest in accordance with Islamic traditions.
