The National Service Authority (NSA) has entered into a strategic partnership with Absa Bank Ghana to provide overdraft relief for National Service Personnel, a move aimed at cushioning young graduates against persistent financial pressures during their mandatory service year.

The initiative is designed to give service personnel access to short-term credit through overdraft facilities linked to their salary accounts, allowing them to manage expenses more effectively, especially in periods of delayed allowances or unexpected financial needs. Under the arrangement, eligible personnel will be able to access a pre-approved overdraft on their Absa accounts, providing immediate liquidity without the need for traditional loan processing.
