The Role of Stablecoins in Financial Inclusion

“With rising interest in digital assets across Africa, stablecoins like USDT provide a reliable way for people to store value and conduct business transactions with ease,” said Buchi Okoro, CEO of Quidax.

USDT, a dollar-pegged stablecoin, plays a crucial role in:

  • Providing stability amid currency volatility
  • Enabling seamless cross-border payments
  • Promoting financial inclusion

As Africa emerges as a key player in the global crypto economy, this collaboration meets the growing demand for digital financial education.

Tether’s Commitment to Financial Education in Africa

“At Tether, we are committed to fostering financial education and empowering communities with the tools they need to navigate the digital economy,” said Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether.

He emphasized that Ghana and Nigeria are among Africa’s most prominent emerging markets in blockchain adoption. Through this partnership, Tether and Quidax aim to bridge the knowledge gap and build a more inclusive financial ecosystem.
