Felix Kwakye Ofosu Provides Clarification

Addressing the concerns during an interview on GH One TV, Minister for Presidency Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, clarified that Dr. Dampare had indeed been invited but was unable to attend due to health reasons.

“The briefing I have is that he put in an excuse duty because he was a bit indisposed on the day. He was part of those invited to the presidency for the engagement with the president,” Kwakye Ofosu explained.

No Ambassadorial Appointment for Dampare

In response to reports that Dr. Dampare may have been offered an ambassadorial position by the Mahama administration, Kwakye Ofosu stated that he had no knowledge of any such appointment.
