P0lice Vehicle Kills Motor Rider at Tesano
A fatal accident occurred on the Achimota-Tesano stretch, where a police vehicle struck and killed a motor rider at Zongo Junction.

Details of the Incident
Reports from Accra-based UTV indicate that the police car, traveling on the Accra-bound road, failed to notice the rider due to heavy traffic on both sides of the road.
Allegedly, the driver of the vehicle, with registration number GP-413, was speeding on the way to an event at the Police Training School and collided with the rider. The yet-to-be-identified rider died instantly.
Immediate Response
Following the accident, traffic patrol officers quickly seized the vehicle and impounded it at the Tesano Police Station, where the driver was detained. The body of the deceased, along with the damaged motorcycle, has been transported to the police morgue.
The fatal accident has sparked significant concern and outrage within the community. Eyewitnesses and local residents have called for stricter enforcement of traffic regulations and accountability for those responsible for such incidents.
