APSU rejects social media allegations, backs probe clearing St Augustine’s College leadership

The St. Augustine’s Past Students Union (APSU) has dismissed a wave of allegations circulating on social media that targeted the leadership of St. Augustine’s College (AUGUSCO), describing them as “false, misleading and malicious.” The union says the claims were part of a deliberate attempt to tarnish the school’s reputation and impede ongoing efforts to maintain discipline and institutional integrity.

In an official statement released on 4 December 2025, APSU affirmed its support for a formal investigation into the case. The union argued that due process must take its course, and that unverified rumours should not be taken as facts.
