The Ashanti regional health directorate has revealed that about 300 plus health workers including doctors and nurses have applied for leave without salaries in the first quarter of 2023 .
Furter investigations have shown that about 90/95% of these health workers have traveled overseas in search of greener pastures .
This has raised a lot of concerns and the ministry of health have been called upon to look into matters and figure out how best these situations can be controlled .
